COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

This course will give opportunity to students for learning social behaviour science theories and topics related to new public health paradigm. There has been a shift in public health education for the last decade. In the past, public health science was learned by doctor who worked ingovernment and community as an effort of prevention action such as immunisation and community health education. Previous public health science more focus in developing ways to encourage community to take initiation for prevention through personal and family life to avoiddisease. To date, public health science has been wider and deeper. Health services organisation, workforce and client target started to be learned, in addition to public private issues, rich and poor population, industrialisation and corporation in health services and educations, and the progress of health promotion strategies.
